EU Withdrawal & Return Request

This page is for customers located in the European Union who wish to notify us of a withdrawal or return request under the EU statutory right of withdrawal.

Because Ecclesia jewelry is often made to order, custom-made, personalized, engraved, specially sourced, or otherwise made for a specific customer, not every order is eligible for withdrawal. Submitting a request through this page does not automatically mean your order is eligible for cancellation, return, or refund. Once we receive your request, we will review the order and follow up with next steps.

If your item arrived damaged, incorrect, faulty, or not as described, please contact us at studio@ecclesiajewelry.com so we can help resolve the issue. This page does not limit any rights you may have in those situations.

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are a customer located in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. You may do this by using the form on this page.

If your order has not yet shipped, you may also use this page to notify Ecclesia that you wish to withdraw from your order, if eligible. Submitting a request does not automatically cancel your order. We will review the order and follow up with confirmation of whether it is eligible for withdrawal under applicable law.

If your order is eligible for withdrawal and the item has already shipped or been delivered, the return shipment must be sent within 14 days of notifying Ecclesia of your withdrawal. We will provide return instructions if the item is eligible under applicable law.

Items That May Not Be Eligible

The EU right of withdrawal does not apply to all items.

Where an item is made to your specifications, clearly personalized, engraved, specially sourced, or otherwise custom-made for you, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply.

Examples of items that may not be eligible include:

  • commissioned or bespoke pieces
  • engraved or personalized pieces
  • pieces made to customer-specific specifications
  • items made with specially sourced stones or materials
  • other custom-made pieces produced specifically for your order

We will review each withdrawal request based on the order details and applicable law.

Return Shipping, Customs, Duties, and Taxes

If your order is eligible for return, the return shipment must be sent within 14 days of notifying Ecclesia of your withdrawal.

For eligible EU withdrawal returns, the customer is responsible for the cost and safe return of the item, unless otherwise required by law.

This includes tracked and insured return shipping, customs documentation, duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, carrier fees, and any other costs related to the return shipment.

Returns must be shipped with all charges prepaid. If a return is sent with duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, carrier fees, or other charges owed by Ecclesia upon delivery, those charges may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law, or the package may be refused or returned to sender at the customer’s expense.

The item remains the customer’s responsibility until it is safely returned to us.

Refunds

For eligible EU withdrawal returns, the refund will include the purchase price and any standard outbound shipping paid at checkout. We are not required to refund upgraded or expedited shipping costs beyond the least expensive standard delivery option offered.

If an eligible withdrawal request is approved before the order has shipped, we will cancel the order and issue any eligible refund to the original payment method unless you expressly agree to receive store credit instead.

If an eligible withdrawal return involves an item that has already shipped or been delivered, we will issue any eligible refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item or receiving proof that it has been sent back.

Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be handled only as necessary to inspect them.

We may deduct for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary, including wear, damage, alteration, missing components, or condition issues that affect resale.

Please return the item securely packaged and with any original packaging, documentation, or components included where possible.
