Custom Stone Sourcing Process

Info / Policies

We’re happy to offer stone sourcing for our gold rings, which we can make with 14k or 18k. At this time, we aren’t able to provide stone sourcing for sterling silver pieces, and we’re not able to work with customer-provided stones.

To ensure the best fit and quality, all stones must match the shape and size used for the specific design you choose.

Please note that we’re unable to reserve or hold stones. A stone can only be secured once the full balance for the piece has been paid.

While partial payments aren’t available for stone sourcing projects, we do offer Shop Pay on our website, which provides convenient payment plan options.

1. Request Form Submission

We encourage you to take your time with the form. It is designed to gather what we need to understand your vision and determine whether we can take on your project.

If you are unsure how to answer a question or think you may need to leave a section blank, feel free to reach out through our contact form. We are happy to help you complete it.

If you are simply looking for a quote for a potential project, you are welcome to contact us through the form as well.

Please note that if most of the form is left blank, we may not have enough information to move forward.

2. Project Discussion

Once we have reviewed your form, we will reach out to talk through the details and expectations of your project.

During this conversation, we will cover your budget, preferred stone origins, desired qualities, and any other important considerations.

We may also recommend alternative stones that offer similar beauty, better durability, or a more budget-friendly option based on what you have described.

After we confirm that we are aligned on the project, we will send a selection of stone options for you to begin choosing from.

If discussing stone origins or qualities feels overwhelming, that is completely normal. We have linked a few helpful articles under (( Very Helpful Stone Resources )) below to help you through everything.

3. Stone Options Review

Now that we have confirmed all the details, we can begin the stone search and share options with you. You will receive two to four stones at a time, each with a quote. These quotes reflect the full cost of the ring, including the stone itself. They do not include rhodium plating unless specified, and they also exclude taxes, shipping, and any applicable tariffs. All quotes are listed in USD.

Once you have reviewed the options, let us know which stone feels right for you, or if one clearly stands out as the perfect choice.

If you share a price range you would like to stay within, for example 3,500 to 4,500 dollars, we will do our best to provide options at the lower, middle, and higher ends of that range. This helps you see how pricing shifts depending on the stone. Please keep in mind that this is not always possible for every project because stone prices can vary significantly based on color and overall quality.

If you would like a general price range for a stone you have in mind before filling out the form, feel free to reach out to us here. When you do, let us know whether you prefer lab-grown or natural stones, along with any clarity or color preferences. This helps us guide you more accurately.

4. Selection & Payment

Once we have found the perfect stone for you, we will create a custom listing for the full value of your piece. In the listing description, you will see all details for final confirmation. This includes your chosen ring style, ring size, gold color and karat, any plating or finish requests, and the full stone information.

Please note that we cannot purchase the stone on your behalf until the custom listing has been paid in full. For this reason, it can be helpful to prepare for this purchase ahead of time so you are ready once we reach this stage of the process.

5. Production

Once the listing has been paid, the production timeline of eight to twelve weeks begins.

**Please note that adding white rhodium or black rhodium plating can add an additional week to production.**

We are not able to offer expedited processing for these pieces, since our team is very small and each ring is made entirely by hand.

You are welcome to reach out at any time during production if you would like an update or have questions.

6. Completion & Shipping

When your piece is complete, we will ship it using the shipping method you selected in the custom listing unless we have discussed a different arrangement. Shipping insurance is purchased by the customer at checkout. If you would like us to confirm that insurance has been applied, we are happy to verify it on our end.

Once your piece ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Thank you for your Consideration!

Our team truly loves sourcing one-of-a-kind stones, and we’re grateful that you’re considering working with us. Thank you for taking the time to read through everything. We hope it gives you the clarity you need to decide whether a custom sourced stone project feels right for you.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out.
